Deneese D. Nelson, 81 of Eau Claire passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Grace Woodlands.
Deneese was born to Morris and Madge (Jordan) Nelson on June 4, 1936 in Eau Claire. She was a landlord for years and had her own cleaning service where she cleaned at many local businesses including Bolton Refuge House. She was a strong, helpful, and independent lady who opened her home many times to family who needed a hand. Deneese always enjoyed a good meal and long conversations. She was a very good cook and could make it in no time at all. Deneese loved her dogs and cats dearly.
Deneese is survived by her sister Donna Mercer; nieces Pamela Boerger and Joye (John) Mooney; and many great nieces and nephews.
Deneese was preceded in death by her father Morris Nelson, mother Madge Nelson, step-father Chub Lund, and step-father Palmer Nelson.
