Jerome B. Hoff

Jerome B. Hoff, 70 of Eau Claire passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at his home.

Jerome was born on March 20, 1948 to Orville and Kathryn (Brown) Hoff in Eau Claire. He served in Vietnam as a sharpshooter in the US Army and received a purple heart.  He married Jeanne Wolf on June 21, 1975 in Bloomer, Wisconsin and they later divorced. Jerome loved his grandkids, his cars, and his dogs.

Jerome is survived by his daughter, Stacy (Nathan) Hilger of Bloomer, WI; granddaughters, Mackenzie, Mickayla, and Mckenna; sister, Beverly Mahoney of Chippewa Falls; sister-in-law, Jan Hoff of Cumberland, WI; ex-wife, Jeanne (Steven) Schnoor of Eau Galle, WI; and many nieces and nephews.

Jerome was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Howard, Quintin, and Charles Hoff; and sister, Mary Jane Beaulieu.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Hoekstra officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday. Burial will be at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, Wisconsin at 2:30 pm on Tuesday.
