Norita was born on May 18, 1943 to Leonard and Stella (Johnson) Killen in Eau Claire. She loved traveling, especially to Las Vegas with her husband Lyle. She had a passion for Precious Moments and enjoyed collecting teddy bears.
Norita is survived by her brother Leonard (Ellen) Killen of Altoona; nephews: Peter (Ann) Killen of Moscow, Idaho and Eric (Barb) Killen of Altoona; and niece Sarah (Matt) Parrish of St. Paul, Minnesota. Norita is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Norita was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Lyle Nelson.
Celebration of Rita’s life will take place at a later date.
Heartfelt sympathies go out to the family of Rita Nelson. She was a great neighbor and friend. I enjoyed her company and helping to keep her in her house. She will sadly be missed but now she is with her late husband Lyle. RIP Rita.
