Roger E. Rude, 81 of Eau Claire passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at home.
Roger was born on September 19, 1936 in Eau Claire to Alfred and Emma (Moss) Rude. He married Cathy (Seidler) Ellingson in Eau Claire in 1985. He worked for the City of Eau Claire for over 35 years and retired in 1991.
Roger is survived by his wife Cathy of Eau Claire and sons, Jeffrey E. Rude and Chad Ellingson.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Arthur Rude, Agnes Erickson, and Donald Rude.
Private family services will be held.
