Roy C. Hayden, 71, of Eau Claire passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Marshfield Medical Center Weston in Weston, Wisconsin.
Roy was born on November 6, 1950, to Leonard and Ethel (Ohnemus) Hayden in Eau Claire. As a young man, Roy enjoyed his muscle cars. He was an avid outdoorsman. Roy worked as a millwright for many years. He was a master of all trades and could fix anything. Roy enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Roy is survived by his sons, Jeff Hayden of Eau Claire and Jason Hayden of Eau Claire; granddaughter, Tessalynn Hayden of Bloomer, WI; siblings, Mary Eckwright of Chippewa Falls, WI, Howard (Lynn) Hayden of Menomonie, WI, Shirley Gilbertson of Mondovi, WI, and Nancy Spehle of Eau Claire; and other relatives.
Roy was preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Ethel; and brothers-in-law, Elmer Eckwright Jr., Duane Gilbertson, Ronald Spehle.
A celebration of life will be at a later date.
