Sharon Ann Rieder, 72 of Eau Claire passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems-Eau Claire.
Sharon was born on May 13, 1943 in Illinois to August and Doris (Hanson) Marquardt. She married Albert Richard Rieder on October 24, 1963 in Idaho. She worked at Augusta school for 18 years. Sharon enjoyed playing card games, slots, reading, playing games on the computer, and sewing. She was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church as a Sunday school teacher, church librarian, and 60+ club aide.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Albert Rieder; son, William (Sarah Moore) Rieder; daughters, Rebecca and Elizabeth Rieder; and nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, August and Doris Marquardt; and brother, Eugene.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
So sorry to hear about Sharon’s passing. She was a great lady. I have lots of childhood memories that include her. Thinking of all of you and sending hugs.
