Wanda T. Wheeler

Wanda T. Wheeler, 74 of Eau Claire passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Dove Healthcare-West in Eau Claire.

Wanda was born on July 27, 1944 to Kenneth and Evelyn (Sandberg) Severson at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She was united in marriage to Jerome Wheeler on March 10, 1962 at Drammen Lutheran Church in Mondovi. She loved her family and socializing. Music was always a big part of her life and she played the drums in numerous bands. Wanda worked at the Severson Nursing Home for many years as a baker and enjoyed baking in her spare time also.

Wanda is survived by her son, Donald (Dawn) Wheeler of Eau Claire; daughter, Angela (Harold) Cyr of Hastings, MN; grandchildren, Matthew (Miranda) Wheeler, Nichole (Josh) Brantner, Danielle Storlie, Nathan Wheeler, William Wheeler, and Carson Wheeler; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn (Cecil Berlin) Lee, Miohne (Gus) Nichols, and Judy (Dave) Larson;

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Wheeler; her parents; and grandson, Justin Wheeler; sister, Elaine Henning; and two brothers, Elroy and Malcolm Severson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:30 am at Smith Funeral Chapel with Pastor Barb Koch officiating. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am until the time of service. Family and friends may leave online condolences at www.smithfuneralec.com.
