William C. Knudtson, 69 of Eau Claire passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health System – Eau Claire.
Bill was born on March 4, 1949 to LaVerne and Phyllis (Stivers) Knudtson in Eau Claire. He graduated from North High in 1967. Bill loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, planting flowers and bird and squirrel watching. He enjoyed hunting with his brothers at the cabin and listening to 60s music. Bill had a talent of woodworking and building various things. He loved spending time with his family and friends as well as playing with his dog Benji.
Bill is survived by his wife of 50 years Sandra of Chippewa Falls; daughters: Patricia Knudtson of Eau Claire and Tallie (Steve) Anderson of Eau Claire; grandchildren: Cody, Natasha, Ashley, Kyra, and Mackenzie; great-grandson William. He is further survived by his mother Phyllis Knudtson; sisters: Lori (Don) Kaveney and Kari (Wayne) Hazelton; brothers: David (Mary) Knudtson, Jimmy Knudtson, and John (Cindy) Knudtson; sister-in-law Doreen (Everett) Seeley; nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his son Travis, father LaVerne, parents-in-law, brother Mike, nephew Eric, and sister-in-laws: Karen and Beverly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Town of Union Hall (1506 N. Town Hall Rd, Eau Claire) from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial at Rest Haven will take place at a later date.
