Zelda Z. Brown, age 91 of Eau Claire, WI passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Dove Healthcare West, while under the care of Mayo Home Health and Hospice.

Zelda was born to Louis and Anna (VanBuren) Kumferman on December 8th, 1923 in Eau Claire County.

She married Ervin Brown in 1942 and together the couple owned and operated a dairy farm in the township of Washington.

Zelda is survived by, two sons; Thomas (Diane) Brown of Fall Creek, WI., David (Diana) Brown of Osseo, WI., grandchildren; Kurt Brown of Eau Claire, WI., James Brown of Spooner, WI., Mikelle Twite (Dan Alexander) of Prescott, AZ. and Thomas Brown, JR. of Webster, WI. She is further survived by, ten great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by, her parents; Louis and Anna (VanBuren) Kumferman, her husband; Ervin Brown on August 14, 1983, daughter; Joyce Brown, brothers; Jerome, David, Paul, Levi, James, Victor and Cadet Kumferman, sisters; Lorraine Winget, Woletta Steffens, Jeanette Johnson and Delhia Radtke.

Funeral services for Zelda will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Smith Funeral Chapel in Eau Claire. Friends and relatives are welcome to a visitation on Wednesday at 10:00 am until the time of services. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Eau Claire.
