I'm so very, very sorry for your family's loss! I didn't know Amy well so I just learned about her passing today, but I'm really sad to hear about it. 3.5 years ago, a mother cat and 6 kittens were found by a family who couldn't keep them but they didn't want them at the shelter either. I took them in, got them healthy, and found them homes. Amy adopted the tabby twins and I was so thankful that they were able to stay together because they seemed the most bonded out of all of the kittens. We communicated about them occasionally but the last time that I heard from Amy was this past summer. Brian, I'm assuming that it was you who took care of them while they were on ECCHA's surrender waitlist and it was you who sponsored their adoption fees...thank you!!! If you're willing, please contact me about Otto and Maggie...I'd love to help however I can! They've unfortunately been through a lot in their short lives. prestika@uwec.edu or text (715) 225-8887. Amy, thank you for your huge heart for pets...I'll remember you and be thankful to you forever!!!

Amy was a first grader at Mt Hope one room school in 1962 when I was a 7th grader. She was very shy and cute. I very much regret her death. John Torgerson
