James L. Durkin, Jr., 63, of Eau Claire passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at his home.

James was born on November 14, 1961, to James Sr., and Edna (Joslin) Durkin in Saginaw, Michigan.

James served in the army from 1983-1989 alongside one of his best friends, Duke. He also worked as a carpenter and at a cable company for several years. He was a great welder, good with numbers, and knew how to speak German well. James liked to play chess and card games. He enjoyed fishing and being with family and friends. James loved football, especially the Green Bay Packers, and never missed a game.

James is survived by his loving wife, Patrica (Libersky) Durkin; five brothers, Johnny, Justin, Jesse, Jodean, and George; three children, Chris, Latrisha, and James; 2 stepdaughters, Lori and Rose; 3 stepsons, Terry, Dan, and Stevie; and 14 grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his mother, Edna; and his brother, Jeff.

There will be no funeral services at this time but there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
