Obituary For Jeffery R. Skaaland

Jeffery R. Skaaland, 71, of Eau Claire passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at his home.

Jeffery was born on October 28, 1953, to Jacqueline York and William (Roger) Wittkopf in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

After graduating from high school Jeff enlisted in the US Army. He was honorably discharged in 1980. After serving in the military he went to work for Lee Beverage for 40 years before retiring.

Jeff had a passion for playing softball. He spent many years playing and when he didn't play anymore he would go and watch others play. He was a devoted Packers, Brewers and Badger fan.

Jeffery is survived by his soul mate, Jody Przybylski; one brother, Michael (Liz) Skaaland; son, Joshua (Kelly) Skaaland; three granddaughters, Jordan (Dylan) Skaaland, Mila and Marley Skaaland; Jody’s children, Jessica and Jason Przybylski; grandchildren, Peyton Jackson, Kyla Przybylski, Zander Przybylski, Olivia Mayberry and Laney Przybylski.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Skaaland; stepfather, Reuben Skaaland; and paternal father, William Wittkopf.

There is no funeral service planned. There will be a celebration of life planned at a later date.

    Jody, Jim and I are very saddened and send many hugs to you and family. So many great memories with the two of you. Jeff was a great support for me through the Eagles days, which i will be forever greatful. Jeff was so lucky to have had you by his side, which you two were soulmates. I will miss my friend.
