Obituary For Patricia Darlene Harold
What a day, February 20th, 2025, for Patricia Darlene Harold (Patty) was! On that day, she looked upon His face, the One Who saved her by His Grace, Jesus took her by her hand, and led her to that Promised Land, yes, what a glorious day that was!
During her journey here on earth she was married to John Thompson for 17 years, they had 3 children, Jim, Teri and Jane. Later on in life she married Danial Harold. Mom was a wonderful cook; she made everything by scratch. Mom made each and every holiday, occasion, and picnics second to none! Mom also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading and loved her famous find a word books. Most importantly mom took the time to teach her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren about the love of Jesus. She was always in prayer for anyone who wanted or needed anything, she was an absolute prayer warrior! Mom’s final days were spent with her family, exactly the way she wanted, there were tears, laughter and loads of love. To say that we are going to miss our mom is the understatement of a lifetime. Her laughter, her joyfulness and her beauty will resonate with us until we meet again.
Mom is survived by her son, Jim Thompson (Denise Thompson); daughters, Teri Col’on (Steve Miescke) and Jane Schlageter (Mark Schlageter); granddaughters, Katie Denn, Kathy Col’on, Chrissy Schlageter, and Kimberly Taylor (Terry Taylor); great grandchildren, Miss Belle, Grandma H’s best girlfriend, (Bruce), Elijah (Haven), Isaiah, Noah, Nava Sparrow, Landen, Ryland, Cameron, Kamiah and Jeriah, they were her entire life! And her special lifelong friend, Donna Herrick.
Mom, thank you for the legacy you left us, a life of strength, resilience and your faith in Jesus throughout the storms and seasons of your life, what a beautiful legacy, thank you mom. We also want to thank St. Croix Hospice for their kindness and caring that they showed our mom and us, they are truly very special people.
