Obituary For Susan K. Russell

Susan K. Russell (Lansin-Jackson) 78, passed away on May 12, 2025, in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Susan was born on August 7, 1946, to Donald and Inez Lansin in rural Cumberland. She graduated from Barron High School in 1964. She married Jerry Jackson. They later divorced. They had two children, Jimmy Jackson and Jennifer Jackson. She married Robert Russell on September 22, 1989.

Many years she worked for Jerome Foods Hatchery, and later owned and operated R Place Café in Cumberland.

Surviving is her husband; son, Jimmy Jackson; daughter, Jennifer Jackson; and brother, Mark Lansin.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Barron VFW on June 14, 2025, from 1-4 pm.

    Sue you were the best stepmom a girl could have. I will always love you. I will remember your cheerful personality, your beautiful smile and rosy cheeks, and the yummy food you would make. I'm glad I had the chance to see you one more time and I know you are dancing in heaven right now. To my dad robert russell, I cannot imagine the pain you must feel losing your wife, you did everything you could for her and more. You were an amazing husband to Sue and she will forever be your angel until you are reunited in heaven. To Jenny and Jim, I met you when I was really young and I am sorry you lost your mom. I recently lost my mom too it will get easier as time goes on. I'm sorry for your loss, Sue was an amazing kind woman.
