Obituary For Theodore Allen Larson
Theodore (Ted) Larson, 89, passed away on Tuesday, September 9 at Mayo Health Systems.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years 11 months, Beatrice (Bates) Larson. Also, by sons, T. Howard (Loann), Wayne and daughters, Carolyn, Jacqueline, Linda; grandchildren, Dirk, Branden, Hunter, Jazlin and 15 great-grandchildren. Also, survived by brother, Arnold, sisters, Ethel, Geraldine, Francis, and Patricia.
Preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Martha, brothers, William and Douglas, and grandchild, Vanessa.
Ted served in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War veteran. He also served in the Army and Naval Reserves. He will be missed by in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the L.E. Phillips Senior Center, which he enjoyed visiting.
A graveside service will be Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Rest Haven Cemetery. Friends and family may leave online condolences at www.smithfuneralec.com.
