Darlene (Wathke) Anderson passed away in Eau Claire, WI on December 4, 2025.

Darlene was born on January 29, 1945, to Edwin and Anna (Sell) Wathke in Eau Claire.

Darlene is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Wathke) Miller (David LeDuc) of Eau Claire; her brother, Marlow (Barb) Wathke of Fall Creek; her brother, Ron (Sonia) Wathke of Arizona; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Bernadine (Wathke) Stone (Jerome) of Eau Claire; and her brother, Kenneth Wathke (Rosemary) of Florida.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her visits with niece Jane (Stone) Linstedt's grandkids.

Darlene retired from Cray Research in Chippewa Falls, WI where she made a lot of friends. She enjoyed her monthly Cray luncheons get to-gethers with other retirees for many years.

Darlene was a devoted pet sitter for many friends and relatives. Especially her daughter’s dog, Noodle. She really loved taking care of the many pets that she did.

There will be no services at this time. A private burial will be held later. In lieu of flowers, cards may be sent to Dawn Miller at 109 West Tyler Avenue, Eau Claire, WI 54701.
