Beverly Jean Wiskerchen, 77, of New Auburn, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at her home.

She was born on March 3, 1947, to Henry and Margaret (Kolpien) Rasmussen in Eau Claire WI.

Beverly grew up on a small farm as part of a large family. She loved playing accordion and other musical instruments. At age 16, she struck out on her own and worked as a waitress at Crossroads Cafe, where she met her husband, Darryle.

Beverly started a family at age 20. She was a loving mother and helped support her family through gardening and sewing. She passed her love of baking and sewing on to her children and grandchildren.

With her husband, she owned and operated a successful dairy farm in Cleghorn WI. After retirement, she and her husband moved to New Auburn, WI where she lived out the rest of her life.

Beverly is survived by her three daughters, Mary Wieskirchen (Brian Robertson) of Seattle WA, Brenda (Richard) Krueger of Bloomer, WI and Nancy (Chris) Beebe of Bruce, WI; by nine grandchildren, Katherine, Lauretta, Kayla, Michael, Jacob, Brandon, Joseph, Joshua, and Henry; and great-grandchildren; and by five siblings, Dick Rasmussen, Kathy Rasmussen, Diane Mazur, Linda Schick and Donald Rasmussen.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and six siblings, Julius, Chester, Joan (Harris), Leonard, Jerry, Clifford.

A memorial service will be Monday, July 1, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Smith Funeral Chapel. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. Inurnment will follow the service at Rest Haven Cemetery.
