Brett Kurt Seidler, 28, of Altoona, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, at his home.

Brett was born on February 22, 1996, in Eau Claire to his parents, Lori Nance of Eau Claire and Kurt Seidler of Altoona. He graduated from McKinley Charter School of Eau Claire in 2014.

Brett was a man of great kindness who wore his heart on his sleeve. His giggle was always full-bodied and brough a smile to everyone’s face. He loved being outdoors, camping, and fishing. His passion was learning how to survive and one day live in the mountains.

He is survived by his mother, Lori Nance; father, Kurt Seidler; uncle, Charles Phelps; aunt, Deborah Goldsmith; aunt, Cheryl Pitt (Adam); uncle, Scott Phelps (Laurie); uncle, Bob Seidler (Barb); uncle, Chad Seidler; aunt, Lori Seidler; paternal grandparents, Sharon and Steve Underwood; numerous cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

Preceding him in death are his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Darlene Phelps; aunt, Lynn Patterson (Phelps); uncle, Thomas Goldsmith; and paternal grandfather, Louie Seidler.

Brett cherished his time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at the Alibi Lounge located at 2112 Esmond Road, Eau Claire, WI 54701 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
