Cari A. (Price) Boyea, 39, of Eau Claire passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.

Cari was born on October 12, 1984, to Sam Simonson in Eau Claire. Cari loved spending time with her son, Riot, especially going fishing and playing Monopoly. She loved movies, bingo, music, playing pool, shopping, going out to eat, hats, and scratch offs. Cari enjoyed attending car shows, concerts, fairs, flea markets and parades. Toys brought out her inner child and she especially loved Squishmallows and Polly Pocket. Cari loved her family and friends. She was a very outgoing person and she loved life itself. Cari was always happy, despite the many surgeries she had had through her life, going through chemo, and being in and out of the hospital. She enjoyed going on motorcycle rides with her uncle Chad.

Cari is survived by her son, Riot Boyea; mother, Sam Simonson; grandmother, Patti Scott; uncles, Chad (Amanda) Scott and David (Cindy) Welk; in-laws, Sherry and Rick Boyea; friends, Susie Hinze, Crystal Harper, and Erin Gaulke; and many other family member and friends.

Cari was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Paul and Betty Price; grandpa, Neil Kjarsgaard; cousin, Lisa Price; and one of her best friends, Scotty Farrel.

A memorial service will be on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 5:00 pm at Gospel Light Baptist Church, 320 S. Wisconsin Street, Fall Creek, WI 54742, with Pastor Scott Kennedy. A visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
