Obituary For George Melvin Simonson
George Melvin Simonson, 82, of Eau Claire passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Dove Healthcare-West.
George was born on February 2, 1941, to Wallace and Frances (Cowell) Simonson in Rock Falls, WI.
George is survived by his wife Cheryl; his sons, Wally Simonson, Pat Simonson, and Jeff (Kelly) Simonson; step-daughters, Shanna (Brian) Stafford, and Elissa (Jim) Robinson; and stepson, Travis Hibbard.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Frances; and several siblings.
A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Chapel on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 12 p.m. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow the memorial service at Maxville Cemetery. Family and friends may leave condolences online.
