Obituary For Griff L. Griffith

Griff L. Griffith, 66, of Chippewa Falls, WI passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024. He was born on November 30, 1957, to John “Jack” W. Griffith and Betty G. Griffith (Holmes) in Eau Claire, WI. He was the oldest of four brothers. He graduated from Chippewa Falls Senior High School in 1976 and went to school at the University of Minnesota to pursue a degree in Physics. During his time in the Twin Cities, he started working in the field of computer programming and became an analyst for NCR corporation. From there he went on to be a Computer Consultant for many companies, including RCU in Eau Claire.

Griff was known to be the ultimate optimist. He had a heart as big as he was. He was that special Uncle, Cousin, Friend that wasn’t afraid to pop in to see how you were doing. He was the kind of guy that was the glue that pulled his extended family together. He will truly be missed.

Griff was survived by his mother, Betty; his brother, Gene; his brother, Guy all of Chippewa Falls; and his brother, Jon (Kathy) of Rice Lake. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Father “Jack” Griffith.

Services will be held Saturday, October 12th, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Church in Eau Claire, WI, with visitation from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. Mass at 11:00 and burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire, WI. Online condolences may be left at www.smithrfuneralec.com

    My condolences to the Griffith family. I remember Loren starting in 6th grade and all through high school. He was a good and kind sole and helped anyone who asked. In 6th grade he demonstrated a rocket to our class a fire off like a fire extinguisher. You will be missed Griff. John Barnier

    I remember Griff's big heart, he was a wonderful uncle to my girls. Big hugs and prayers for the Griffith Family.
