John Michael Sulla passed away peacefully at his home on July 24, 2024.

John was born November 2nd, 1958, to Leon Sulla and Marie (Smaglik) Sulla. He attended Roosevelt High School and later graduated from Dunwoody College of Technology. John met his wife, Jeanne while both working at Unisys in the Twin Cities. They were married June 18th, 1988 and purchased a house together on the lake in Ham Lake, Minnesota. They welcomed their twin boys, Joshua and Jonathon on July 30th, 1991.

John’s favorite hobbies included working on cars and Rupp minibikes. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife and sons. The family took many trips, including to locations such as London, Ireland, and New York. John also enjoyed spending time on the river at the family’s boathouse.

John is survived by his two sons, Joshua (Jessica) and Jonathon. John is also survived by his two sisters, Sue (Bill) Freeman and Leanne (Bill) Ronning.

John was as preceded in death by his loving wife, Jeanne and his parents, Leon and Marie (Mary).

A celebration of life potluck will be held on Saturday, September 14th from 11am-2pm at the Kiwanis Shelter, Prairie Island Spillway. 1340 Prairie Island Road N, Winona, MN 55987.
