Manuél Loya López, 53 of Minneapolis, Minnesota passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Manuél was born on April 29, 1970, to Manuél Loya Borunda and Maria Isabel López Becerra in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico. Manuél enjoyed spending time with his kids, going fishing, and taking them to the zoo. He was easygoing and enjoyed a good laugh.

Manuél is survived by his children, Natasha, Isis, Nicholas Manuél, Noah David, and Nora Josephine; significant other and mother of his three younger children, Joanna Morrow; mother, Maria Isabel; brothers, Javier (Edelmira), Carlos (Guadalupe), Efrain, and José (Joan); sisters, Maria Guadalupe (Dean Coil), Irma Lucila (José Manuél), and Judith (Javier Nuñez); and many nieces and nephews.

Manuél was preceded in death by his father, Manuél, sister, Carolina; brothers, Manuél and Ricardo; and nephew, Otoniel.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. Bernards Roman Catholic Church in St. Paul, MN. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
