Obituary For Mark Allen Johnson

Mark Allen Johnson, 59, of Dallas, WI passed away very unexpectedly on February 27, 2024.

Mark was born to Arnold and Margaret (Black) Johnson on January 19, 1965, in Eau Claire, WI. He graduated from Memorial High School class of 1983.

Mark loved the outdoors, was an avid hunter and fisherman, he backed the Pack at any football game he watched. Mark was an amazing man with a heart of gold, anyone that knew him was so lucky. He was a prankster, always had a comeback, and was very seldom seen without a smile. His favorite past time at home was a good game of cribbage with his fiancé Renee or shooting pool with his buddies. He was an excellent shot and loved winning, “Who’s winning” was his words with laughter. Mark did tree trimming for years. At the time of his death, he was employed by Jennie’O Turkey Store as Quality Assurance in Barron, WI.

He will be deeply missed by many family and friends. His survivors include his fiancé and love of his life, Renee Paulette; her children, Morocca (Kole) of Oceanside, CA, Cardell of Eau Claire, and Casey (Tori) of Eau Claire; two grand fur babies, Duck and Goose; his mother, Margaret Johnson of Eau Clare; sister, Nancy (Ken) Sebranek of Menomonie and their children John, Carrie, and Jason; Renee’s parents, Ronald and Charolette Franson of Eleva.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Johnson; grandparents; and his dog, Gracie.

May God grant Mark eternal rest and his loved one’s peace in the days to come.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11:00 am at Smith Funeral Chapel with Pastor Christine Emerson officiating. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
