Maverick E. Dawson, 2, of Fall Creek entered into rest on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at his home with his loving family.

Maverick was born on September 25, 2021, to Luke and Kayla (Johnson) Dawson in Eau Claire.

Maverick had incredible love for all trucks and the outdoors. He would get so excited seeing any school bus, semi truck, or garbage truck while in the car. He liked dada's big truck (concrete truck and propane truck). He also loved to sing and dance with his sissy every night before bed. He loved playing outside on his Gater, on the swing or with bubbles. Maverick was so smart and loved reading and doing puzzles or figuring out the mechanics of how something worked. On weekends he enjoyed helping his mom with laundry every Sunday and loved doing anything with Dad outside.

Maverick was an incredible little boy who's smile was so contagious. His memory lives on as the shining sun, and as the brightest star in the night sky.

Maverick is survived by his parents, Luke and Kayla Dawson; and younger sister, Layna Dawson of Fall Creek. Grandparents Lori and Mark Dawson, Steve Johnson and Tammy Tomczak.

Maverick was preceded in death by his great grandparents Arthur "Snooky" and Betty LePage and David and Marilyn Johnson.

A funeral service will be Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 5:00 pm at Smith Funeral Chapel with Pastor Doug Bjerke officiating. The visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
