Obituary For Nita Dorice Brantner

Nita D. Brantner, 77, of the Township of Brunswick passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Sacred Heart Hospital.

Her positive attitude and smile drew everyone to her, and she always had a way of making you feel special.

Nita is survived by her husband, William Brantner; her daughter, Wendy Simon (Steve); her son, Michael Brantner (Jodi); Her grandchildren, Ashley (Brandon), Samantha, Alicia, Tessa, and Tyler; Her great grandchildren, Henry, Phil, Harper, Brooks and one more great granddaughter due in November. Also, her bonus grandchildren, Samantha (TJ) and Eric (Hanna).

Nita was preceded in death by her infant son, Jon and her parents, Millard and Fonda Secaur.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 4th from 1 pm to 4 pm at Smith Funeral Chapel in Eau Claire. Private burial will follow the visitation.

The family would like to extend a big thank you to the medical staff at Sacred Heart Hospital, but especially to her newfound family on 6th floor. The care and compassion they showed was deeply appreciated.

Nita was like a second mother to me when I was in high school. Nita had a warm smile, a wonderful laugh, and always made me feel like I was part of the Brantner family. I will cherish those memories for the rest of my life. Nita helped to raise wonderful children and grandchildren; her son Michael has been, and will be, one of my dearest friends. My deepest sympathies to all of Nita's family and friends as I know that she was loved and cherished by all who knew her. Sean O'Brien

I am so sorry for your loss. Nita was a beautiful lady who in many ways reminded me of my own Mom. She didn't exactly take me under her wing, but she was ALWAYS the first one to offer help & support. Such a warm, good hearted, compassionate person. May your memories bring you comfort.
