Obituary For Rebecca Kate Nelson

Rebecca Kate Nelson, 54, of Wheaton passed away Wednesday, March 19th, 2025, at home surrounded by her loved ones.

Rebecca was born to George and Joyce (Fick) Zahara on December 17th, 1969, in Mankato, Minnesota.

Becky loved her family beyond measure. She adored her 3 grandchildren even more. Everything from gardening to swimming to camping to sleepovers to day trips to family vacations was her dream and she lived it. Whenever the grandkids were around, she was at her happiest. It was her biggest dream come true the day she became a grandmother. She treasured every friendship she ever made. She left us too soon, but she sure lived a full life of love and laughter.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 29th, 2025, at Wild Ridge Event Center from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
