Rhonda Renee Nordby, 50, of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 1, 2024.

Rhonda was born on July 21, 1973, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Yvonne and Dennis Nordby. She graduated from Chi Hi High School in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, in the Class of 1991.

She was blessed with four loving children, and she loved them dearly. She had a passion for cooking and loved entertaining and catering to everyone. She had a strong, outgoing, fun loving, and funny personality. She will be missed by her loving children and all who knew her. Rhonda had a bright smile and could light up any room.

Rhonda is survived by her loving children, Austin, Alyssa, and Aliya Galindo; her sister, Bridget Nordby; niece, Briana Ellis; nephews, Jacob and Andrew Suggs; aunt, Loretta Swan; uncle, Harlan (Sandy) Nordby; and several cousins and numerous friends.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her son, Allen Ray Galindo, Jr.; parents, Yvonne (Dewey) Dachel and Dennis Nordby; nephew, Mason Suggs; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.

A celebration of life for Rhonda will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Lafayette Town Hall, 5765 197th Street, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin 54729, from noon until 4:00 p.m. The memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Chaplain Myron Olson will be officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
