Obituary For Richard E. Kaduce

Richard Ervin Kaduce, affectionately known as "Dick," passed away on April 28, 2024, at the age of 80, in Eau Claire, WI. Born on September 17, 1943, in Mankato, MN to Ervin and Verna Kaduce, he leaves behind a legacy of service, entrepreneurship, and cherished memories.

Richard proudly served in the Air Force for four years before embarking on a diverse career journey. He was the dedicated owner of K2 Antique Radios from 1978 to 2019. Prior to that, he contributed his skills as a service technician at Xerox from 1968 to 1997 and as a business manager at Kay's Kreations from 1991 to 1997. Richard also found fulfillment as a motor coach driver from 1997 to 2016 and at Synergy Cooperative from 2016 to 2020. Beyond his professional pursuits, Richard found joy in a multitude of hobbies. Whether it was playing card games, riding motorcycles, collecting radios, fishing, exploring Alaska, or traveling the world, he lived life to the fullest. As he liked to say, “I’ve been everywhere.”

Richard will be deeply missed by his beloved spouse, Kay Kaduce, his children Dan, Dave, Jenny, Michelle, Erick, and fur-child Ollie, whom he held dear to his heart. He is also survived by his brother Myron, sisters Betty, Phyllis, and Karen, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loyal companion, Bandit. A celebration of Richard's life will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Briarwood Cottages Clubhouse from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., located at 5622 Gatehouse Terr., Eau Claire, WI 54701.

Rest in peace, Richard Kaduce. Your memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved you.
