Obituary For Robert Neil Hodges

Robert N. Hodges, 73, of Eau Claire passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems-Eau Claire.

Bob was born on July 19, 1952, to James and Edith (Stewart) Hodges in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He married Joanne Gullickson Kittelson Hodges on May 16, 1986.

Bob is survived by his wife, Joanne Hodges of Eau Claire; a father for 39 years to Gregory Kittelson and Kara (Eduardo) Kittelson Jaramillo; brothers, Ed (Kay), Jim and Gord; and grandchildren, Ariana (Ryan) Jaramillo Sasaki, Gabriela Jaramillo, Esperanza Jaramillo, and Xavier Jaramillo.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, James; mother, Edith; and sisters, Nancy and Annita.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Bertelsen Hall at the Good Shepherd Apartments. A private family burial will follow the service at Lutheran Cemetery.

    Bubba, My fishing mentor, cooking mentor and the man who taught me how to do doughnuts in the snow. We worked at the Village Inn together, later Gord joined the crew. I was 15, 88 pounds on a good day, Bubba was a bit larger, but like Stan and Laurel we made a great team. I left the Village and some 20 years later we ran into each other. I met his beautiful wife and relived those formative years. A big smile and a bigger heart, Bob will always be there, in our hearts an in our thoughts. Rest Easy my Friend.. Mike Pickett
