Scott James Henning, 60, of Eau Claire passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Oakwood Health Services with the help of St. Croix Hospice.

Scott was born to Donald and Elaine (Severson) Henning on July 27, 1964, in Eau Claire. Scott was well known for never missing a single day at school and having 13 years of perfect attendance. He spent most of his career in roofing and construction. He loved spending his free time with family and friends fishing, hunting, camping, snowmobiling, or just sitting by a campfire with a dog or two by his side.

Scott is survived by his father, Don Henning; sisters, Sheri Harris, Sue (Steve) Paffel, and Sheila (Keith) Kraemer; brother Stanley “Skip” Henning; son, Dylan Henning; daughter, Danica (Joe) Henning; his much-adored grandchild, Lainey; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother; paternal and fraternal grandparents; and many beloved pets.
