Shannon Ray Pearson, 50, of Eau Claire passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024, peacefully at home.

Shannon was born to Ray and Nancy (Ross) Pearson on November 2, 1973, in La Mirada, CA.

Shannon is survived by his daughters, Kaitlyn Pearson, Kylie Shoemaker and Ashley Rohde; grandson, Liam Caspersen; Niece, Aliza Shoemaker; and nephew, Cole Shoemaker.

He is preceded in death by both parents, Aunt Royalee Harrison, grandmothers, Alice Pearson and Debra Shoemaker, and his beloved cat Twinkle.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 3PM at Riverview Island in Eau Claire, WI. A private family burial will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024, at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI, at 2 pm.

“Shannon was the most amazing father, and the greatest friend. He was so full of love and lots of dad jokes. He absolutely loved to make the people around him laugh and had no trouble doing so. My dad dedicated every ounce of his being to fatherhood for the last 25 years of his life, and for that I am forever thankful. My earliest memories as a child are all with him; he was my best friend- we never went more than a week without speaking to each other. I will forever cherish how close our relationship was.
