Stanley Richard Henning (Skip), 61, of Eau Claire passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Luther Hospital of COPD with family and Gary by his side.

Only known as Skip, he was born to Donald and Elaine (Severson) Henning on March 29th, 1963, in Eau Claire, WI. He attended North High School to the 10th grade then worked on his aunt and uncle’s farm in Fall Creek, then on to several jobs such as Soderberg Optical, Dadco Products, Eau Claire Apple Orchard, etc.

He spent most of his time hanging out with family and friends, camping, fishing, sitting by a campfire, or sitting under a streetlight just talking. If there was a kid close, he was taking them on an adventure, or a pet was going for a walk.

Skip is survived by his father, Donald; sisters, Sheri Harris, Sue (Steve) Paffel, and Sheila (Keith) Kraemer; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, even great nieces and nephews, and at least two lifelong friends, Gary and Al.

He is proceeded in death by his mother, his brother Scott by only 29 days, and many relatives, friends, and pets.

His celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Seymour Swigs (Idlewild) at 999 Malden Avenue, Eau Claire.

In honor of Skip wear the color red.
