James “Jim” E. Arneson, 67 of Eau Claire passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Clearwater Care Center.
Jim was born on January 30, 1950 to Norman and Lorraine (Zimmer) Arneson in Eau Claire. He graduated in 1968 from Regis High School. After high school, Jim joined the National Guard while also attending the Milwaukee School of Engineering. After school, Jim began working for Harley Davidson. His passion in life was restoring old motorcycles.
Jim is survived by his mother, Lorraine Arneson of Eau Claire; sister, Jean Barlow of Eau Claire; nephew, Jason (Ashleigh) Barlow of Carlsbad, CA; nieces Jody (Scott) Graham of Orlando, FL and Charissa Barlow (Jayme Bruhn) of Eau Claire; great-nephew, Preston; great-nieces, Olivia, Isabella, Sofia, Kiara, Teela; special friend, Nancy and son, Ben; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Norman Arneson.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church with Fr. Donald Meuret officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday. Burial will follow the services at Calvary Cemetery.
