Joan Shirley Berg, 83, of Township of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday January 11, 2022, at her home.
Joan was born August 13, 1938, the daughter of James and Irene (Gunderson) Norby. She married Russell Berg on February 25, 1956, they celebrated 65 years of marriage. Joan enjoyed working her flower gardens and enjoyed her visits to local greenhouses with her daughter, Robbin.
Joan is survived by her Husband, Russell; and her children, Rusty (Cindy) Berg, Robbin (Mike) Yanke, and her grandson Michael Yanke, all of Eau Claire.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, James and Irene Norby, her two brothers and two sisters.
A graveside service will be Monday, January 17, 2022, at Brunswick Cemetery, at 11:00 am.
Sad to hear that aunt Joan passed away. I remember as kids playing at your house with Rusty and Robin and having so much fun. Always being treated so very nice. Every time I saw you two always with a hello and smile. My thought are with you uncle Russell and Rusty and Robin.
Robbin, my condolences to you and your family with the loss of your mother. Mary and I hope you find comfort and your mother finds peace on her final journey. We will keep you and your mother in our prayers.
So sorry to hear about the passing of Joan. I really enjoyed see you and Joan when you would stop at the Hide-A-While in the afternoon. We always had a nice visit. Sympathy to you and your family.
