Clifford G. Moyer, 80 of Rock Falls passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at his home.
Clifford was born on November 19, 1935 to George and Evelyn (Parizo) Moyer in the town of Peru. He grew up and lived in the Rock Falls area the majority of his life. Clifford served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married the love of his life, Delores Norby on March 25, 1960 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. They spent 46 years together before Delores left this earth. Clifford worked for Bergman Blacktop for 36 years and later retired from Eau Claire Lawn and Garden. Clifford was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and attending family gatherings.
Clifford is survived by his children, Shannon Harrison of Eau Claire, Kevin (Juanita) Moyer of Eau Claire, Jeff Moyer of Eau Claire, and Toni (Clare) Harshman of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren, Sam (Nikki), Jeremy (Angie), Lester (Krystle), Collin, Colton, Trevor (Erika), Ryan, Miranda, Alicia, Randy, Dakota, Summer, Montana and Shade; great-grandchildren, Kira, Randa, Chase, Conner, Brynleigh, Chloe, Shyanne, Lance, Faith, Temperance, Austin, Kaden, Kyle, Alivia, Andy, Logan, Hunter, Dominick, and Monika; great-great grandchildren, Amelia and Aiyana; and sister, Harriet Hayden of Cleghorn, WI.
Clifford was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Moyer; grandson, Dallas; and brothers, Douglas Moyer and Floyd Moyer.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Smith Funeral Chapel with Pastor Robert Hoekstra officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am up to the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
