John R. Parker, 73, of Eau Claire passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at his home.
John was born on November 27, 1949, to Andrew and Lucy (Ausmus) Parker in Knoxville, TN.
John graduated from Halls High School in Knoxville, then went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force before attending University of Tennessee. He was a sales representative for Western Wear and Boots and enjoyed watching Minnesota Twins’ baseball and Tennessee Volunteers football.
John is survived by his wife Yvonne Parker of Eau Claire; son Andrew Parker (Megan) of St. Paul; daughter Lacie Weatherholt (Erich) of Eau Claire; grandson Erich Weatherholt and granddaughter Gabriella Weatherholt; brother Larry Parker (Cheryl) of Knoxville, Tennessee; seven nieces and three nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents Andrew Wilson Parker and Lucy Ann Parker, his brother Bud Parker, and his nephew Chad Parker.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Smith Funeral Chapel. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Friends and family are welcome to leave online condolences below.

John was wonderful friend. He was always kind and and gentlemen We had lots of classes together in high school and re connect on Facebook for updates on family and he loved Tenn vols
