Joyce M. Peterson (Thornwall) (Sparks)

Joyce M. Peterson (Thornwall) (Sparks), 77, of Chippewa Falls, WI passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 2^nd, 2016 at Dove Healthcare – Wissota Health & Regional Vent Center in Chippewa Falls.

Joyce was born to Lawrence and Ruth (Olson) Peterson on May 30^th, 1938 in Chippewa County, WI. She worked at Amoco & Pactiv for over 30 years before retiring in 2001. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Joyce loved to shop and go out for lunch, especially at her favorite restaurant, Chippewa Family Restaurant.

Joyce is survived by her sons Tom (Kenda) Thornwall and Todd (Pam) Thornwall; Daughter, Staci Sparks (Rich Wagner), and grandchildren Nicolas, Megan, Heather, Nicky, Bina, Forrest, Spencer, and Robby. She is also survived by three sisters, Lorraine Bjork, Nona Rubenzer, and Bonnie Gunther. As well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Sisters June and Dorothy; and Brothers Danny and David.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday February 13^th, 2016 at 12 pm at New Life Open Bible Church in Lake Hallie, WI, with Pastor Scott Emerson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at church. Burial will be at a later date in Colfax, WI.
