Lillian M. Kloss, 90 of Eau Claire passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Health System.
Lillian was born on September 14, 1924 to John and Hannah (Hanson) Anderson in the Township of Dover, Buffalo County, WI. She graduated from Gilmanton High School. After graduating high school she attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and graduated with a teaching degree. She taught at Four Corners School in Buffalo County. She married Joseph F. Kloss on August 22, 1945 in Eau Claire. Lillian worked at K-Mart for over 30 years. She loved to golf, travel, and bake.
Lillian is survived by her two sons; Richard Kloss of Eau Claire, and John (Lisa) Kloss of Eau Claire; four grandchildren, Jamie (Brian) Anderson of Colfax, Shawn (Holli) Kloss of Chippewa Falls, Jonathon (Laura Schwahn) Kloss of Eau Claire, and Jason Kloss of Chippewa Falls; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Maeland Anderson of Mondovi, WI and Linden (Diane) Anderson of Sommerset, WI; one sister, Eileen Scyphers of Mondovi, WI; and many nieces and nephews.
Lillian is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kloss; her parents; three brothers; and one sister.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd at 11:00 am with Pastor Mike Wollman officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will be at Brunswick Cemetery following the services.
