Lois was one of the most loving people we know. I am Neil’s cousin. He was such a loving man, and my sisters and I were so happy when he married her. They both remain the most loving people in our lives. My husband loved them, too. (Neil walked me down the aisle when we were married sixty years ago.) Lois loved her little dog, even leaving the radio so he would have company when we went out together. What a wonderful woman! I’m so glad she was in my life, and we miss her.
When I think of wonderful, generous, kind, humble, loving people, Lois heads the list. When I was a young girl in need of a job, Lois took me under her wing and ensured I was properly trained so I could succeed. Many years later, when I supervised a staff, I always trained my new employees by the “Lois Riley method of accounting.” Many, many gals in Arizona benefited from her influence on me and knew Lois through what I told them of her. I will miss Lois forever.
