Lori Lynn Young, 53 of Boyd, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Sacred Heart Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.
Lori was born in St. Paul, MN to Jermone Lebarron and Nancy (Lindow) Hanson. She was raised in Chippewa Falls and the surrounding area. Throughout her life, Lori had various occupations. She was a bus driver for the Hayward School District, and also had many years of experience in hospitality. Lori loved and adored all of her grandchildren, family, and friends. Nothing thrilled Lori more than taking long rides on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. She collected Harley Davidson merchandise and Native American décor. Lori enjoyed going to concerts, dancing, and cooking large meals. She will be greatly missed by her family and all whose hearts she touched.
Lori is survived by her parents, Jerome LeBarron and Nancy Hanson; brothers, Scott LeBarron, Troy, Tim, and Tom Fransway; boyfriend, Brian Kane of Boyd; sons, Zach Snyder, Jesse Young, and Ryan Young, who was like a son; Daughters, Bobbie and Sylvia Downey and Nicole Young; Grandchildren, Margaret, Ivy, Maurice, Jasmine, Joanna, Drako, Makai, Miles Jr., Angelo, Ellie, and Araya; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Lori was preceded in death by her parents, Joan LeBarron and Roger Hanson; brother, Jerome W. LeBarron; daughter, Dana Young; two cousins; and her grandparents.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Smith Funeral Chapel, 2222 London Road, Eau Claire, WI 54701. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am up to the time of the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will follow the services at Prairie View Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the burial at Lake Hallie Town Hall.
