Patricia E. (Martine) Whitwam, 65 of Eau Claire died on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at her home.
Pat was born on January 7, 1951 to Lawrence and Dorothy (Skaug) Martine in Woodstock, IL. She worked numerous jobs throughout her lifetime. Deep down she had a heart of gold! If you ever needed a place to stay, whether it be one night or months, her door was always open!
Pat is survived by her husband, Russell Whitwam of Eau Claire; son, Travis Whitwam of Spencer, WI; four granddaughters, Jordana, Jordan, Eva, and Azalea ; siblings, Donna Sell (Allen Rongholt) of Eau Claire, Barb (John) Gilbert of Altoona, Jim Martine (Penny) of Knapp, WI, Lisa (Mike) Bishop of Bremen, Georgia, Larry Martine of Eau Claire, and Mark (Joni) Martine of Florida; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Ted Mueller Novak; and her sister, Karen Haddeman.
To honor Pat’s request a small graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire with Pastor Robert Hoekstra officiating.
I’ve known Pat for years, she and Russ and myself all worked at the Turkey Store in Barron and continued our friendship when she moved to Eau Claire. I will miss her kindness and laughter. She will be reunited with her son Ted,parents and sister again. Pat you will be missed and I will never forget you. Till we meet again. RIP
