Roger A. Baglien, 83 of Fall Creek passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Azura Memory Care in Eau Claire.
Roger was born on February 27, 1934 to Adolph and Thelma (Hoff) Baglien in Osseo, Wisconsin. Roger graduated from Osseo High School in 1952. He farmed with his parents until he married Darlene Bryce on August 26, 1967 at Grace Lutheran. After they were married, they bought a farm in Fall Creek. Roger was a member of Saint James Trinity Lutheran in Fall Creek and served on the church council. He was also a member of the Augusta Cenex Board. Roger enjoyed the outdoors, watching football and taking Sunday drives.
Roger is survived by his wife, Darlene Baglien of Fall Creek; daughters, Jean (Chris Wolff) Baglien Wolff of Eau Claire and Jodi (William Sparkes) Baglien Sparkes of Eau Claire; son, John (Jessica Armstrong) Baglien of Osseo; grandchildren: Sammy, Taylor, and Jake Wolff, Porter and Greyson Sparkes, Bryce, Lilly, Layne, and Sydne Armstrong Baglien; sisters: Avis Drung, Janice Heitkamp, Sonia (David) Becker, and Ima (Earl) Pasch. Roger is further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, and his brother-in-law Harold Drung.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Smith Funeral Chapel. Private family burial will take place at a later date at Rock Falls Cemetery.

Darlene…We didn’t know Roger was in poor health…so we are so saddened by his passing. Willard remarked about the fish that your son caught in our little pond and also about the time you guys came to the cabin….such good memories…and above all…the Hawaiian trip. where we created the life long friendship Please relay our sympathy to your kids….How could any one not miss this good man….(do you still have the land phone? I tried to call but got nothing….)any way, I hope we can talk sometime in the future…God Bless love and prayers, Willard and Mary ann…
