Ronald H. Parr

Ronald H. Parr, 88 of Eau Claire passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Clairemont Nursing Home.

Ronald was born on November 18, 1926 to Edward and Viola (Mitchell) Parr in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Ronald was in the Navy and served on the USS Elliot during World War II. Ronald married Genevieve Ripienski in April 1949 in Eau Claire. He retired from Uniroyal as a Supervisor.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Genevieve Parr; three children, Sandra White, Rhonda Parr, and David Parr; two grandchildren, Jennifer White and Heather (Steve) Bubolz; one great-grandson, Brett Bubolz; and one sister, Margaret “Sis” Hansen.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; and many uncles and aunts.

Memorial services will be on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 11:00 am Smith Funeral Chapel with Pastor Robert Hoekstra officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Tuesday. VFW Post 305 will perform military honors at the funeral home.
