How well I remember Rose when I was pastor at First Lutheran. She was quiet and faithful; one of those women of the church who are committed saints. Rejoice in the resurrection hope – Rose is!
Our deepest sympathies to you all. I have fond memories of Aunt Rose and loved her laugh!
May your memories give you comfort.
“Grieve not,
nor speak of me with tears,
but laugh and talk of me
as if I were beside you
I loved you so
’twas Heaven here with you.”
Isla Paschal Richardson
My condolences to Rose’s family. Rose was my neighbor when I lived on Doty st. She was a delightful woman. I remember her bringing me a jar of homade jam, and she helped herself to my garden so it didn’t go to waste. My dog, Ben had to always greet her when we were outside. When I moved away, I thought of her often and coming back to visit her once. Rest peaceful Rose, I never forgot about you. Give Ben an ear scratch for me.
My sympathy to Carol and all the rest of Rose’s family. I recall working with Rose years ago and the respect I had for her. I remember that smile always present and her hard working attitude. Wonderful woman and my pleasure that I was able to cross paths with her during her long life.
Aunt Rose was always and will forever be my favorite aunt. She was a very important part of my childhood and such a strong, energetic and beautiful person. My condolences to her family. I know the last years were not easy ones for you. Rest in peace and rejoice in Heaven!
