Sonny J. Pepper, 13 months of Eau Claire died on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Sacred Heart Hospital.

Sonny was born on July 30, 2015 to Jacob and Amy Pepper in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Sonny was our perfect little baby boy, who smiled and showed his love for life and family doing the simple, silly things that boys do; sticking his fingers where they didn’t belong, making a mess of his favorite spaghetti dinners, and trying to get as much water out of the bathtub as possible. He enjoyed making towers with his blocks, which were the best gift he ever received from his loving Aunt Becky and Uncle Josh, only to destroy them and start over. Although his time with us was short, the world was a brighter place each and every day he was in it. We want him to be remembered for the happy, energetic, and delightful child that lifted the spirits of those around him; which was in his spider man pajamas most of the time. He will be missed by his twin sister, Summer, in trading nooks, throwing balls at each other, and sharing the experience of growing together and having a friend to figure out life’s adventures. Our boy was perfect, and this is the way we shall remember him forever.

Sonny is survived by his parents, Jacob and Amy Pepper of Eau Claire; twin sister, Summer Rae of Eau Claire; and loving friends and family members.

Sonny was preceded in death by his cousin, Izzo David.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception with Father Donald Meuret officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Friends and family may leave online condolences at www.smithfuneralec.com.

There are no words to ease the sorrow and pain your family is experiencing. May you find comfort knowing that many family and friends are praying for you and share your sorrow. If only there was something that we could do to help ease that pain. I pray that you would lean on our Lord and Savior as only He can give you the strength needed to make it through this MOST difficult time. My heart is breaking for you all, I cannot imagine the pain of losing a child. I pray that you would be comforted by God and find peace knowing that Sonny is in heaven. You will see him again.
