Patricia Anne (Kavanagh) Nichols, 70 of Eau Claire passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems-Eau Claire.

Patricia was born on November 25, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois to Loretta and John Kavanagh. She graduated from Central High School in Bristol, Wisconsin and loved to play baseball and ice skate. She raised a daughter and a son as a single parent and worked hard for 30 years at Chrysler Corporation. Patricia retired ten years ago in Eau Claire. She loved to shop and go out to different restaurants.

Patricia is survived by her son, Keith Nichols; daughter, Kelly Nichols; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Myah Phillips; sister, Alice Ranker; and brother, Dennis Kavanagh.

Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta Kavanagh and her father, John Kavanagh.

Memorial services will be on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Smith Funeral Chapel in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will take place this coming summer on her mother and father’s plot in Lakewood, Wisconsin. Friends and family may leave online condolences at www.smithfuneralec.com.
