Alnora “Babe” B. Best, 97 of Eau Claire passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at American Lutheran Home in Mondovi, Wisconsin.
Alnora was born on May 23, 1919 to Chester and Ida (Emerson) Smith in Eau Claire. She worked for many years as a Nurse’s Aide at Luther Hospital.
Alnora is survived by her children, Clyde Jr. (Debbie) Best in Eleva, WI, Eunice (Arthur) Peterson of Sebring, Florida, and Walter Best in Saucier, Mississippi; grandchildren, Cindy, Craig, Sabra, Brenda, Cory, Michelle, and Daniel; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
Alnora was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Sr.; son, Roger; and one grandchild, Cheryl.
Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.
