Jon A. Rognholt, 82 of Robbinsdale, Minnesota passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at his residence.
Jon was born on April 18, 1933 to John and Elsie (Bielefeldt) Rognholt in Dover, Wisconsin. Jon served in the US Army with the Big Red One during the early 50s, and upon his return, earned his Associates degree in accounting. He served in that capacity at a small firm and later at Farm Supply Co-op for many years. Jon enjoyed woodworking, the Packers, occasional golf, travelling, and of course talking!
Jon is survived by his two sons, Brian (Jackie) Rognholt and Craig Rognholt (Brian Kelvington); his brother Neil (Donna) Rognholt; his sisters Donna (Dennis) Jahnke, Willa Rognholt, Sandra (Bruce) McIvor, Judy (Ronnie) Buntz, and; his grandchildren, Handsome, Kennyth, and Serenity and many nieces and nephews.
Jon was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Rosella Rognholt and his brother Gary (Darlene) Rognholt.
Funeral services will be on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 11:00 am Concordia Lutheran Church with Pastor Hamilton officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Smith Funeral Chapel and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Burial will be at Brunswick Cemetery following the services.
