Rita Gertrude Ludvik Collier, 86, of Altoona WI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Grace Edgewood.
Born July 3, 1935 in Ladysmith WI, Rita was a daughter of Bohuslav and Gertrude Ludvik.
Rita is survived by her seven children; Michael, Catherine, Cynthia, Christine, Mark, Matthew, Cheryl; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and six of her siblings.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, former husband Lyle, and friend Bernie.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of Rita’s life will be held at a later date
So sorry about your mother passing. Our children grew up together in Altoona. Greg and Lori Thompson. Those were wonderful days lots of memories. We lost Lori in a car accident so we know sorrow. Our condolence and prayers are with you all. She was a fun lady
I remember Rita from our days at Sacred Heart Hospital in the Housekeeping Department. She was a fun gal with an attitude that we all loved.
I always thought of your mom fondly. She was my birthday buddy and I remember her laugh especially when she would get together with my Dad and Mom. I would love to see you all at the Celebration of Life. I will watch for that to be posted.

I am sorry to learn of your mom’s passing. She was my first babysitter and many years later we reunited when I worked in the lab at Sacred Heart Hospital. Lots of fond memories of the neighborhood “gangs”, both the kid version and the parent version!
So sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was such a good sport when we would infiltrate your kitchen for one of our cookie making escapades! So many good times with all of our families.
